Two grand jubilee concerts for world reknown bassist Eberhard Weber took place at Theaterhaus Stuttgart on 23 and 24 january. Featured soloists were Pat Metheny, Jan Garbarek, Gary Burton, Paul McCandless, Danny Gottlieb and conductor Helge Sunde.
Gary Burton on vibraphone and Ernst Hutter on euphonium together with the SWR Big Band premiered Ralf Schmid´s new arrangement of Eberhard Weber´s composition „Touch.
